KANSAS CITY, Mo. —

Authorities say four core partners in the Kansas City, Missouri, metropolitan area will issue a "stay-at-home" order effective Tuesday.

Areas under the order will include Jackson County and Kansas City in Missouri, as well as Johnson County and Wyandotte County, Kansas, including KCK. Health officials said the move is necessary based on the "urgency of the COVID-19 public health emergency and imminent rapid progression of the pandemic in our area."

Authorities said beginning Tuesday, March 24, all residents will be expected to stay at home except for essential needs, or if they work for essentual businesses or services.

All jurisdictions listed will issue the order, which is expected to last for at least 30 days.

I was at a Casey's to get gas and while I was there, the clerk looked at his phone and read that St Louis issued the order today. We figured KC would be next.

We also had a state senator in the Bush era who said women should not be allowed to vote, and should stay home to take care of the menfolk. Kay O'Connor. A woman.

Kansas is often right up there with Floriduh

Missouri side has Cleaver in the House, where he's been since he was mayor of KCMO.
KCMO--blue
Wyandotte County--blue
Johnson County--Trump won by only 2% in 2016. Then Sharice Davids flipped a House seat in November, and Laura Kelly flipped Governor from Brownback's interim.
Jackson County--Hillary won in 2016.
