Just curious how we'll be faring during Hurricane Sandy. It looks like it'll bypass us, but would love to hear local reports.
This morning in the midcoast, cloudy, no precipitation, normal sized waves moving from the north, not particularly impressive.

(37,540 posts)From my yard - Complete overcast, no fog. hi-tide, very rough seas, but, oddly, no wind. Given the current tracking of Sandy, I don't think it will be too severe here, but you never know....

So far, no power outages.

(12,188 posts)on the CMP website. Now they list far fewer number of streets -- I guess this means CMP is on the job and fixing things.
Still have power here on the water. The howl of the wind is amazing to hear. It leaves one in awe of Mother Nature.
