I grew up in Benedict, right on the river on the Charles County side of the Patuxent. Now live in Texas. I don't remember temperatures like that in September. I hope my relatives back there aren't suffering too much. It's beastly hot in Texas, but you guys back East are seeing temps you haven't seen before.

Daughter lived in P.G. County for a few years, so I passed Benedict when going to visit her. She moved to Calvert a couple years ago, @ the Patuxent, 7 miles south of me.
Wondering how my grands are doing in school today, 4th and pre-k.
