SAGINAW, MI — A Saginaw Township man has received a probationary term and been ordered to pay a four-figure sum for threatening gun violence on those who would remove his errantly placed political signs.

Saginaw County District Judge M. Randall Jurrens on Friday, Oct. 25, sentenced 50-year-old Andrew Leslie Reel to one year of probation, during which he must pay $1,035 in fines and costs. Reel must also forfeit a 9mm pistol and its associated ammunition and magazines. The judge further prohibited Reel from having contact with victim Thomas Roy or visiting Fashion Square Mall.

This is the case where the guy, upset by moving a Trump sign- wrote a note saying:

“ “I set up a camera and I’m out in the far distance with a 9mm gun,” the note read. “Any bastard takes my signs down in a laim [sic] democrat attempt will pay! You up for my wrath?”
