SPOTLIGHT RACE: Jennifer Atlas for NV-SD05
Jennifer is a single mom, fighter for our schools, and a reproductive health care champion.
She first moved to Las Vegas in 2006 to pursue her career as a ballroom dancer, where she worked alongside some of the world’s top performers and with notable productions across town. After her career in dance, she went on to work in hospitality on The Strip for one of Nevada’s largest employers.
As a single mom, Jennifer understands what families face, and that is why she will always put Nevada’s interests ahead of special interests.
Jennifer grew up just outside of Denver, Colorado and earned her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder. She is currently a paralegal for a Nevada law firm and lives in Henderson with her son, Beau, and dog, Ladybird.
Jennifer’s story is one of resilience, dedication, and the power of a single mother determined to make a difference in her community and beyond. Her candidacy promises not only to bring a fresh perspective to the State Senate but also to champion the kind of policies that will foster a brighter future for all Nevadans
