I looked at the maps after the election, and said: "Yep. Only three places I could live." Can't imagine living in conservative crazy places.

I love the Golden State but look at the Oregon Live site daily...we like to know some of what is going on and figure that us 3 states (Washington, Oregon and California) have to stick together.

If his 50 vote lead that he holds now holds up until the end and through the likely mandatory recount soon.

Moved to this district recently that could help give him one of those valuable votes to hopefully win soon!

If he holds on, Democrats will have an 18-12 lead instead of a 17-13 lead to replace the narrow 16-14 majority they used to have in the State Senate.

We had one DINO State Senator (Betsy Johnson) that kept us from getting many good things passed before. With a 17-13 margin or even better an 18-12 margin, that will make her cross over voting useless and we can actually get some things done at the state level the next two years! So states rights will rule for Oregon the next two years!
