Four grenades found at Grants Pass McDonald's
Police found four hand grenades near a McDonald's restaurant on Seventh Street in Grants Pass Wednesday morning, and three of the grenades were determined to be live, the Grants Pass Department of Public Safety reported.
All of the explosives were recovered without incident. Officers continued to search the area for additional devices Thursday, but police said they dont suspect any further threats, according to a press release.
At approximately 10:35 a.m. Wednesday, the Grants Pass Department of Public Safety received a report of a possible explosive device near the McDonalds driveway. Officers later found a hand grenade in landscaping. The Oregon State Police Bomb Squad later arrived and found three more partially buried.
