Medford Oregon- stay out of the north Medford Walmart. Employee C19 breakout.

Someone I know is an employee and is on day 5 of home quarantine, has tested neg so far. A checker went to work sick, sat in front of the big hall fan to lower temp to pass the forehead temp check- she's since tested positive. It should be closed for a thorough disinfecting, but it's not. That woman sat in front of the huge entrance fan, spreading knowingly sick, when the store discovered she was ill, she was escorted from the building. There are at least two other case positives in the store. Anyone who has been in the north Medford Walmart in the last two weeks should get a test and/or limit interaction with others, and closely monitor yourself. It's a huge store, and always full parking lot, and who knows how many people she checked out pre symptom and w/symptom. I did a search to see if there was a local news story about it, but nothing popped. Be careful out there, folks!

People are desperate, and working at Walmart, I suspect she couldn't afford to take off work. MerryBlooms Aug 2020 #3

I wonder if the sick employee has health insurance or paid sick leave. She might also be the sole breadwinner in her family.
