GOVERNMENT CAMP, Ore. Crews are searching for a snowboarder who did not return home from Mount Hood Meadows. ... On Wednesday search and rescue crews will focus on areas around the Shooting Star Express chair lift, which was Mathers last reported location and includes access to some backcountry areas.
Personnel from the Hood River Crag Rats, Pacific Northwest Search and Rescue, Mt. Hood Meadows, Portland Mountain Rescue, Corvallis Mountain Rescue, Lane County Sheriffs Office, Deschutes County Sheriffs Office and the Oregon Air National Guard are assisting with search operations.
