PA-HD96: Lancaster County school board president (D) will replace Rep. Sturla on November ballot
LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — The Lancaster County Democratic Committee said its recommended candidate for the 96th Pennsylvania House seat will replace Rep. Mike Sturla on the November ballot.
In a unanimous vote Wednesday, committee members in the district recommended endorsing Manheim Township School Board President Nikki Rivera.
On Thursday, the Pennsylvania Democratic State Executive Committee also voted unanimously to endorse Rivera.
Lancaster County Democratic Committee President Tom O'Brien described Rivera as "highly qualified for this office."
