Why Hilton Head tourists were told to take down Trump flags from their rental home

A West Virginia family vacationing on Hilton Head Island says they were unfairly targeted for hanging two flags supporting President Donald Trump on their rental home.

The family, staying in the south beach area, said they were asked by Sea Pines Security to remove their flags, which were attached to the rental home’s railings facing the beach.

One of the flags features Trump’s recognizable blue logo with the slogan “Keep America Great.”

The second features Trump’s name and the phrase: “No More Bull----.”

While the family removed the flags from the rented home, they continued to show their support by carrying them during walks on the Sea Pines beach.

All signs, including political and real estate signs, are prohibited in Sea Pines. In addition, the community’s rules say “beach accouterments such as towels and bathing suits may not be hung on railing/balconies or any other location where visible from adjoining properties, a golf course, the beach, or the road.”

They don't even allow hanging beach towels on the railings

In other words, no riff raff or white trash

Those folks should have rented a place at the local trailer park and they would have fit in just fine

How much do you want to bet these people knew this was against the HOA rules, but they did it anyway just to cause trouble.

Trump flags flying on lots of rigs. Pulled in at night. When we backed into our site, we found ourselves surrounded by trump humpers. We stayed 10 days. The guy next to us was kind of an asshole in general.

Checked out their FB page and the campground had posted a pic of someone flying the trump flag, and other people were already complaining about it, also pointed out to campground management that a pic like that could be taken as endorsement and lose some business.

Saw the same type of thing at An Emerald Isle campground In 2016, although not from the rig campers. Someone had put Trump signs on almost all the permanent cabins.
