Why we're looking at fare changes now
Sound Transits last fare change for Link light rail happened in 2015. While wed planned to adjust fares in 2020, the pandemic led us to postpone any changes to better support our community during that challenging time. As our system continues to expand, we need to update our fare structure to ensure sustainable and high-quality service.
