New ads drop from NO on I‑2117 and NO on I‑2124, featuring Bill Nye and Kim Allen

Two of the campaigns working to secure the defeat of destructive right wing initiatives that would take Washington backwards unveiled new television spots this week that make the case for voting NO by Tuesday, November 5th at 8 PM Pacific Time.

NO on I‑2117 launched an ad today that’s got many activists talking. It features Bill Nye — yes, the Science Guy! — explaining that I‑2117 would take away a critically important tool we need to make Washington’s air and water cleaner.

Similarly, it’s vital that we say NO to Initiative 2124 so that Washingtonians don’t lose WA Cares, the fund that our elected representatives established a few years ago to provide the people of the Evergreen State with a means of accessing long-term care.

Shoreline’s Kim Allen explains in NO on 2124’s latest ad, “Barely Remember,” that she had surgery early in her life. Private insurers deemed that a pre-existing condition and rejected her when she tried to get long-term care insurance.
