When the state’s health reporting database came back online after an upgrade over the weekend, the state’s total case count had grown to 173,891 — 7,705 more cases than had been confirmed on Friday. Additionally, the death toll is now 1,600, 26 more than Friday.

The state DHS says 3,777 of those cases and 12 of those deaths were confirmed just today.

Of the 26 deaths reported, there were three each in Chippewa, La Crosse and Waukesha Counties; two each in Kenosha, Langlade, Milwaukee, and Portage Counties; and one each in Brown, Clark, Dodge, Green, Juneau, Marathon, Marinette, Oconto and Outagamie Counties.

Our seven-day average of deaths is now 20.29.

Wisconsin’s seven-day of positive tests by person rose from 20.8 on Friday to 21.1 Monday, the highest rate yet. The positive rate by test is now 11.7, an increase from Friday’s 10.6 percent — meaning 11.7 percent of the tests given in the past seven days were positive, while 21.1 percent of the people tested were positive.
