It's campaign season, which means Wyoming officials are getting complaints about election signs

Sheridan drivers may have noticed a large Foster Friess gubernatorial campaign sign last week at the corner of Big Horn Avenue and Brundage Lane.

The property’s owner, Kim Love, said the busy intersection is an ideal spot for a campaign advertisement — but he told the Star-Tribune that he never gave anyone permission to use his land.

“It was not authorized; I am not supporting Foster Friess,” he said.

Love, the owner of a local radio station, removed the sign and complained to campaign officials. He said Friess personally called him Friday and apologized for the mistake.
