Household Hints & Help
Related: About this forumHelp! I need a clothes iron. I bought a Eureka, and I hate the thing.
It's waaaay too big and clumsy to use, plus the steam shoots out really forcefully without actually smoothing wrinkles! Don't ask my why that is . . . I want a smaller, plainer iron that's more old-fashioned, but still gets hot and steamy enough for the toughest denim.
Any suggestions?

(120,858 posts)Sorry, can't help you there. I think I have one somewhere; haven't seen it lately. I'm retired and I no longer have to iron any damn thing.

She saw the ironing board and said "What's that?" I told her you don't want to know.

(12,051 posts)fact makes most people's heads explode. Really, I should start an ironing service.
I don't mind housecleaning; I don't mind laundry; but I FRIKKIN' HATE COOKING. My head explodes when I hear someone say they love cooking, it's so relaxing (WTF?), it's a beloved hobby, I can hardly wait to cook for my dinner party Friday . . .
