Copying and pasting images from an iPad

I may be the last person alive to find this out, but, using Chrome, if you long press an image you get the option to open the image in another tab. Do so. That puts the image's link in the URL pane. Select and copy e URL and paste it into a DU post and voila. The image in your post.

press on an image until you get the option to Copy

Paste the image's URL into the Go to this address bar and load the image

Copy the URL from the address bar

Paste the image URL into the Message text

It's an annoying extra step to have to go through that I was hoping would be fixed in iOS 6, but alas it is not.

I always avoided copying because I didn't want a bunch of miscellaneous images ending up in my photo stream.
