what about a HARDWARE group?
DU has (paraphrasing) 'help & support', 'mac users', 'lib tech' and 'codemonkey' groups.. but no 'hardware hackers' group? whazzupwiTHAT? every decent software hacker i know has had occasion to degauss their self. before poking their fingers around in the guts of someone's precious. usually their own.
how many of you have 'touched' a power supply or some other grounded object in the last, say, week? show of hands?
how many own a grounding strap?
a soldering iron?
an fpga or the like?
how many saw a rack today?

I support the idea for a hardware enthusiast and hacker group.
