My first thought, after hearing the YouTube guy is that the guys dragging the real or pretend weapon around might do it to intimidate their rivals if they thought the rivals wouldn't test them on it.

4. One: since when have the Russians shown much of a hoot about misappropriation of their weapons? ...

Two: that photo doesn't mean Russian Intelligence didn't plant that weapon.
