Never have been, and for documentable psychological and physiological reasons never will be.
I'm not an alpha male, I am not even a beta male. My nation DID call on me for military service because I had these organs, but it didn't actually expect me to use those organs in national service.
Although my spawn was never cast upon any 'blue dresses' or in the reproductive tracts of half awake, drunken, besmitten or sleeping females, it is in all probability true that my spawn has been cast in the reproductive tracts of bored females.
I'm just another guy.
I find being treated as a CATEGORICAL enemy because I have a Y chromosome and associated androgenized anatomy laughably unrealistic.

(6,581 posts)I wouldn't even worry about what they think. I would just lump them in the "divorced from reality" crowd, along with Birthers, tea party types, religious radical fundamentalists.
We're all "just another guy" with the same capacity for love and hate, good and bad, kindness or cruelty of any man, or any human for that matter. And sex is just another biological urge, like thirst or hunger. No need to apologize for it, or for who we are. Women who are willing partners obviously don 't feel this way, and I'm sure they would have the same attitudes towards ultra-radicals.
Live a good live, treat others with respect, and that is all anyone need do, male or female.

(19,890 posts)I don't accept any particular for the actions of other men just because they and I are of the same sex. Rapes committed by other men are not my responsibility, and I have no responsibility to change their attitudes.
I consider myself a nice guy, always respectful of other humans of either gender, and "quietly a gentleman" (ok, those are lyrics I ripped off from a favorite O.A.R. song).
What do I have in common with a rapist or pedophile just because we both have Y chromosomes? Nothing.
To condemn all guys for the acts of the few is stupid. Should we condemn all women or at least women who are mothers because of the fact that Susan Smith in S. Carolina and that woman in Texas drowned their children? That would be just as asinine.

(6,581 posts)Ok, here goes what will get me in trouble with prying eyes. But, a lot of women are not easy to get along with.
