1. Candles on the DJIA last 13 trading candles tell the story

It's tech and AI as a theme for 2024. This is like a tech bubble in the making. They're saying AI will require super large chips and that's why chipmakers and everything associated with chips is on fire. Software too. Many of these stocks are up 35-50% since September.

But, there have also been Decembers when the market turned south for profit taking and tax loss selling and went down the whole month.

Markets are responding because of growth in the economy. 5.2% Robust. That means inflation is dying because productivity is rising, and Bidenomics continues to produce jobs and growth.
