Anyone in San Diego want a good condition, Sea-foam Green 2010 Genuine Buddy (125cc) scooter maintained by the authorized mechanic for $1500?
Great deal - about 1/3 off Kelly blue book for "sell by owner" because of a few dings.
She gets 80-85 MPG and can get up to 60 MPH (50 MPH on steep hills with a 200lb rider), and wieghs only 225 lbs (just like me!).
She has been used regularly as a work commuter vehicle (18 miles on city streets round trip) in all but downpours and heavy (20 MPH+) winds and has just over 8K miles on it. She's a friendly color, easy to see at night, and just the right color to stand out clearly against anything - glare, pavement, fog, dusk.
She's is equipped with a full windshield, front book-rack, "chrome" railing kit, new rear tire, back rack with 3 gallon Givi box (key is unfortunatly at the bottom of San Diego Bay with my old wallet and keychain, so you'll have to drill out the lock and replace it).
Not Freeway Legal because she only gets up to 60MPH, but can handle traffic anywhere else easily.
Cash Only...I'll even toss in the medium sized helmet.
My right leg just can't handle the stopping and holding her up on hills anymore.
While I can get anywhere within a 90 mile distance (depending on roads) of downtown San Diego, I can't afford to transport out of San Diego proper, but if you want to come out/down and rent a U-Haul motorcycle trailer to haul her back, I'll get some rope and straps and help you load her up.
