Prime Minister Narendra Modi may visit Kyiv in August, following criticism for his recent Moscow visit. Modi aims to balance relations with the West and Russia while competing with China for leadership in the Global South. In June, Modi and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy have already discussed bilateral relations and the upcoming Global Peace Summit during the G7 summit in Italy.
