(20,864 posts)appointments. Trying finding therapy related events (that's really broad as it can be just talking with folks, bingo, arts & crafts, etc) at one of your local recreation centers and then get van service appointment to get you there.
Hugs to you.

(2,341 posts)Im lucky that I have a partner who can take me. The problem is I use a walker and everything is so hard to do.
I take walks around the neighborhood, but with the cold weather, my neuropathy gets worse.
Well see how this works out

(2,067 posts)I can't drive anymore, because of physical maladies...I have weekly therapy appointments, either in person or via Zoom. My therapist sometimes comes to my house, which is really nice. My honey takes me to all of my appointments, and there have been many. I have Kyphosis, EDS, POTS, dysautonomia, survived a brain aneurysm 2 years ago, and a heart attack last year, In July half of my thyroid was removed, and now I have almost no voice. I have chronic pain and joint dislocation and subluxation daily. Braces are a must just to function. EDS is progressive. But I'm very Blessed with my daughters both living on the island here, and my grandsons, and son in law.
I love being alone. I've been labeled as a 'super empath' so I don't really enjoy too many outings anymore. My heart attack was Broken Heart Syndrome, an NSTMI heart attack. Empathy. My Mom had just died and my sister was about to when I had it. Mary passed last year at 61, just after my heart attack. I turn 61 on the 15th.
I don't have any money either. Hopefully my disability claim will be approved....my attorneys just filed a brief to Reverse and Remand the negative decision they gave me.
Anyway, you are always welcome to reach out via message to me.
Wishing you all of the best,
Rebecca
