Highwaymen
This is a really great Netflix original movie!
It made me think, kept me interested, and taught
me a whole new perspective on Bonnie and Clyde
and the way society works sometimes!

(38,958 posts)and it was a very well done movie. I really enjoyed the viewpoint presented in which Bonnie & Clyde were just background and the objective but never personalized as characters. It was a very different method used in this film of telling the story.
Yes, we get the story of Bonnie and Clyde as a kind of tragedy
for all the people surrounding them, including the country as a
whole. It was also a kind of morality tale and psychological object
lesson on what happens to people under too much financial stress,
both individually in the cases of B and C and collectively in the
moblike hero worship of cold blooded killers going after the evil
banks. Very interesting.

(2,573 posts)Didn't want it to end. Actually I think I will watch again as I am sure I missed details....especially in conversations between Harrelson and Costner. They were amazing together. (Small detail....Harrelson just couldn't get Costner to eat healthy...but was "allowed" to drive the Ford in the end I wouldn't be surprised if they won awards. In fact, the whole cast did a superb job. Netflix has hit it out of the park lately.
