The best line I've heard about getting and staying sober...

"Focus on who you want to be, not on who you were." I've noticed that a lot of rehab is focused on ones past, atoning for it, and forgiving. Which is fine, but at some point I think it's healthier to look to the future. Just my opinion.

Went back to school and got my degree while working full and overtime. If you keep talking about it and thinking about it, you could end up slipping. But that’s just me. That was in 1990.
