Related: About this forumToday was audiology and head and neck. Fun and frivolity.
They decided against antibiotics for the ear. That's good, but Monday I get a tube inserted in my eardrum to drain the liquid so I can hear again.
Today I ate nearly a half a won ton. It was gooooood! The meat tasted like liver, but I like liver. Mostly I drank the broth. It was like watered down schmaltz. Yum
They also did the eply maneuver on me for my vertigo.
Wednesday the 10th I get a PET scan.
I am still weak and wobbly, but I see the light at the end of the tunnel. The PET scan will inform me whether it is the sun or an on coming train.

(92,819 posts)Won ton soup is a cherished memory of food that tasted good to me before most other food.
Especially the broth.
Let us know how the scan goes!

(35,523 posts)I had vertigo for 11 months (not the rocks in the ear kind). Debilitating. I'm still occasionally a little off-balance, but at least the sensation that accompanied it for so long is gone.
Hope that's all it took for you - and that the PET scan is clean!
