The Iceman Wim Hof claims his sub-zero treatment can cure illness

I like hot baths, I like cold sleep, rather colder than most people. I sleep deeper, burn calories and feel great at 49 degrees F with 8-10 layers of clothing and blankets. So I'm wondering if this Wim guy is onto something.

2. Whilst the cold may reduce symptoms of illness

I highly doubt it can cure anything except excess cash in your wallet. Sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

See a health professional before trying anything this extreme, especially if you are chronically ill or otherwise in ill health. The shock of the cold could do damage and the risk of hypothermia is real.
