I am 64 and have moderate osteoarthritis in my knees. I have gotten to the point that I have to take Tylenol or an NSAID every day to stay comfortable. I'm already on a lot of other meds for other issues, and I worry about the toll the painkillers are taking on my liver, kidneys and heart. Any suggestions that won't mean another trip to the pharmacy?

my doctor which would be best for osteoarthritis-Tylenol or NSAID. I am 64 as well and I try not to take NSAIDS to often because at my age it’s harder on the stomach. Tylenol has its own set of issues with the liver. This is why it’s best to consult your physician.

but there is no proven benefit.

You could always move next door to NM, we just got recreational cannabis and that stuff does work.

He still has chronic pain after 2 neck surgeries and one back surgery. But that wasn't what got him to smoke. He's a very good amateur musician and composer and he found that sativa really amps up his creativity. So now, he flies to Denver once a year and stocks up.

that the worst that would happen is that they would confiscate it and he would be out whatever he spent on it. In Houston, possession of 4 oz or less gets you a court summons and release, not unlike a traffic ticket.
