Broccoli rabe with garlic, stir fried in olive oil, mixed with gemelli cut pasta. Bocconcini.
Tossed green salad with French dressing. Very simple salad--cucumbers, tomatoes, and red onion.
Pineapple-tangerine kombucha.
Roasted chicken legs, sort of coq-au-vin style.
Roasted Portobello mushroom caps lined with olive oil, Italian herbs & spices, garlic and a bit of butter. After baking a bit, add shredded cheese to the cap and finish baking till the cheese has melted somewhat.
A simple salad of red leaf lettuce, tomato slices, cucumbers, red onion and black olives with Italian dressing.
Oatmeal cookies for a sweet.

(69,888 posts)Mushrooms, red pepper, shallots & the green part of scallions for veggies. Plenty of parm.
After the veggies (minus the scallion tops) were sautéed, I deglazed with sherry.
Then added all the dairy & brought to a boil.
The shrimp was cooked in the bubbling sauce.

Mixed greens with Campari tomatoes, cukes, shaved radishes, and some kinda dressing;
Chicken salad with mayo, dill, chives, capers
on thin apple slices.
Retrograde
(10,653 posts)a package of chicken thighs (deboned- Im getting good at this), with leeks, carrots, potatoes, onions and cauliflower, seasoned with salt and pepper and baked in a medium oven for an hour. Plenty of leftovers for future meals
