I think some men enter parenthood somewhat reluctantly, and are bowled over by how deeply they fall in love with their babies.
Man years ago, a military flying buddy of my husband was one such man. After their first son was born, he sent us a letter that really yanked my chain. He started out carping about all the negatives, and I was really worried. Got to the bottom of the page aNd turned it over to see he had written in huge letters -
BUT I LOVE IT! I WANT ANOTHER ONE!
I'm a pediatric nurse practitioner, and new daddies are some of my favorite "patients."
