I went to my first Gay Pride Parade today!

It was awesome. My friend's float was fantastic and I met so many neat people.
What a great way to spend the afternoon.

but then I am a NYC native, born, raised, went to school down street from the Stonewall, and had older gay relatives.

It was all a big, AND???, to me growing up. Happy, though, that you experienced what you did. MORE people need to.

What city? DC doesn't have as many floats as LA or SF.
