Is the New York Times still open? Do they even know there is a candidate running that basically screwed everyone he ever did a "deal" with?

Charlie Pierce reminded folks a few days ago that the former Boston Globe editor who had the guts to let the Spotlight team expose the giant Catholic Church scandal 15 years ago is now at the Washington Post. Could explain why the Post has some guts and the Times is quaking in its corner not to offend the Rethuglican Party.
