Besides, it's a musical challenge. Who didn't thrill to Whitney (RIP) knocking that tune out of the park?

Anyone can sing most anthems--ours requires some serious pipes. It's just another thing that makes our society unique.

If we can reach our promise, it'll do just fine...historic undercurrents and all.

I don't want to erase our history; I do want to be honest about it, though.
