An actual love poem. (You're probably relieved)

PURPLE

It’s the purple I love in my memories
The plummed sunsets just before black
The red of the fire and heat of desire
Turn violet at point of impact
The scent of the summer is purple
And the wings of the geese flying South
But my fondest of purple reflections
Is the warm, grapeful taste of your mouth
