affecting demographic groups?

I've got another one of my bizarre questions, and don't know where else to ask it. It's this: Have the mass shootings and terrorist attacks since the beginning of the 21st century started to affect the sizes of certain populations? By that I mean, are there beginning to be fewer numbers of people in certain demographics?
Please realize that this question is NOT about the following:
1. The politics of any given country, including the United States
2. Religion of any kind
3. Gun control
4. The perpetrators' mental health
My question is about the victims--their gender, age, race, religion, country of birth, country of death, and any other applicable demographics topic. Has anyone been studying this? Or if not, perhaps someone working on his or her graduate degree or doctorate could use this as a thesis?!
