I need help on listing credits in my art history book.

My editor is my daughter, who is knowledgeable about art and editing (she did my first art book).

But I needed to put my text into googledocs, so I hired an IT guy recommended by a professor at my grad school. He knows very little about art but is my tech support, big time! He also puts together my video presentations (slideshows) of art backed by music.

My question is how do I credit her and how do I credit him? He has become more essential to me technically and I want to give him top credits (which he very much wants as he is young and just starting out).

What is the appropriate way for authors to list these invaluable people? Is there a title such as "Technical Editor"? I want to give him a warmly appreciative mention, as I know he aspires to go beyond just IT technician and I want to help him in his career.

I’m a writer also, and that is how I have handles editors and those who have given professional advice.

Perhaps you can add a page if you have an appendix? I’m a fiction writer and have never had this experience.

My daughter will be the Editor, which means she lays out the text and artwork.

My daughter also did the cover design, which is gorgeous.

In my Preface I write a little about why I did the book (personal visits to see the art and my own need to share great art that I have loved).

Funny story: my ex husband wondered to our daughter why HE didn't get any credit in my first book. When she asked him why he said something astonishing: that he was so neglectful of me I was driven to art in desperation. We all got a big laugh out of that, but what a sad, awful thing to say out loud...
