Book text, first draft, due June 30.
As of 5 minutes ago - 92,300 words written (target 90K)
206 pg Word doc
On page 135 of the first pass to completion
Wife and daughter are both reading from pg 1 and giving me their suggestions/comments.
When I push the send button on June 30....relief!
of course, then starts the process of back and forth request for changes, edits, etc......but....
I can sense the relief of having sent in that first draft already!

but now the publisher has my first text draft, and essentially all of the needed pics....
So I guess it is time for the to and fro of my editor forming that big mess of mine she now has into a book that people will really want to read - and also reflect my intent and passion for the topic.
Quite an exhausting process, but.....whew! Glad that is behind me!
