My dealer informed me my new Bolt came in yesterday evening. I asked him to send me some pics so I could tide myself over until I pick it up next Monday.

Just one option I wish they would offer, roof and hood panels that contain solar cells to increase range.

6. Wouldn't help as much as you might guess

The power delivered by full sunlight is a bit more than 1 kW/m^2 and good solar panels might be 20% efficient. Illuminating 2 square meters of solar panels will add energy at a rate of 400 W at best. It's not nothing, but a typical power draw rolling down the road is ten times that. Put another way, over 8 hours that would work out to 3.2 kWh, which even on my Volt would support maybe 10 miles' driving.
