Vintage Bikes: After decades of not riding bicycles, I have recently gotten the bug ;=}

I'm into vintage bikes with fenders. I have been finding all kinds of bikes on CraigsList and have bought several trying to find the right fit. We are becoming pretty good at repairing older bikes. I would never have guessed a year ago we would be fixing bikes.

I think I have finally made a decision to keep a Raleigh Sports, I have given her the name RaMa. I paid $25 for the poor neglected thing, she hasn't had any attention in a very long time. We replaced the tubes, tires, gave her a beautiful gold chain, lights ( we bought some really inexpensive flashlights and attached them using the old intertubes that came with the old girl ) they work really well. We pounded out some dents, and thinking about giving her a powder coat paint job somewhere down the road.

She rides really smooth, and we have been enjoying night riding when everyone else is at home in bed. Riding at night is kinda like skinny dipping :=O

We will be selling the other bikes we have now fixed up.

Hopefully sometime in the future when DU3 is official I will post pics of my baby girl RaMa.
