I think ruby-throated hummingbirds are the only species here.

They are so cool.

I also learned that they don’t just feed on nectar. They also eat insects. Never knew that.

3. They'll also enjoy a sip of fresh watermelon juice, but it can't be left out to ferment ...

Some people leave out banana peels in a hanging basket near the feeders, to help attract gnats for the hummers

4. I'll have to try watermelon and banana peels when the hummingbirds return

in late March, early April. At least the banana peels.
Watermelon will have to wait until it’s in season.😉
