It does vary; one year, he was here DAYS before she arrived, and he called and called until she finally made it.

out of here and then pop back up in the early Spring. It's nice to see the usual Spring rituals come to life. They usually make a couple of nests on top of my gutters, elsewhere, so I'm careful to not disturb them, get after the dogs to not bother them when they hunting for worms and / or other insects to eat. Always leave water out too, they (not just the robins) all love the water, I need to set up a camera sometime and capture all of the visitors who come for just the water.
