(136,072 posts)then dragged chair out so I can get better and closer views.
Neighbor will, some day, remove some branches, I'll set chair in good spots, and then hope greenery won't interfere TOO much, for a month or so anyway.
These can't compare with the great close ups I got in the past, on the nest. (Geese likely make those impossible this year.)

(136,072 posts)There is at least one spot, along the river, on confluence of tree branches, where remnants of their attempt last year still exists. Will check it out, did see it yesterday.
