on my walk to work. A coopers hawk was chasing a starling thru the trees trying to get a meal.
It was like watching a WW2 dog fight the way the birds were twisting and turning thru the trees.
After a bit the hawk gave up and rested on a limb,
On occasion I would see a body part or bones of a mouse/rat on the ground and look up seeing the hawk munching on the remains... I guess it was easier prey..
