(4,781 posts)Besides the photo overall, I can't think of a hummingbird that has that supercilium and cap, neither in North America nor in the parts of the tropics I've been in. Just for kicks I put it in Merlin, no ID.

(3,213 posts)We made sure our honeysuckle bush (the smell on a summer night is strong) stayed healthy for them, I saw quite a lot of green chinned ones and a few others.

(32,397 posts)Most likely the inspiration for the blossom photo. The blossom resembles an Abutilon. There are some photos of Bee Hummingbirds in the back pages of this group too.
The very smallest bird on Earth is the Bee Hummingbird, which can be found in the Zapata. (Cuba)
