1. Hello fellow Staten Islander!

2. I had a Rufous hummingbird come visit me here in Delaware after Thanksgiving 2016

So after seeing this picture, I put some fresh juice in my feeder on the porch. I know it was rare, but it’s stuck around for a couple of weeks.

3. There are also reports of Ruby Hummingbird sightings in Sussex Delaware this week ...

plus other Rufous sightings further north.

4. Thank you, I refilled the feeders i'll keep an eye out for them

The one that showed up in November was totally unexpected, and I guess I had just been too lazy to take down my feeders. Now I leave one up all win winter.
