If you have not signed up for the Gearbox Shift deals, you should. They do not spam you much and you get Shift codes now and again for bonus stuff. This time it is skins, it has been extra golden keys though

11/29/2012 - The good news is that 5 codes, each one for a Golden Key are coming this weekend. The bad news is that they are spread out and the code is only going to be active for three hours:

This weekend, we'll be handing out SHiFT codes that can be redeemed for a Golden Key in Borderlands 2 on the Borderlands Facebook and Gearbox Software Twitter!

We'll be posting five sets of codes across 24 hours, specifically:

Friday, November 30 - Post at 6PM CT, Active until 9PM CT (What time is that for me?)
Friday, November 30 - Post at 11PM CT, Active until 2AM CT (What time is that for me?)
Saturday, December 1 - Post at 5AM CT, Active until 8AM CT (What time is that for me?)

12/18/2012 - They put up a new twitter post, this time good for 5 Golden Keys. The post went up yesterday, the 17th, and it says the codes will be good for "a few days", so get em while you can:

It does not say how long the codes are good for but I just used the PS3 one and got another golden key The codes are:

You sign up for what? Is is some sort of email service ? Then they send you codes which get you stuff? You get keys, but what else?

3. It is mainly to get your email address to send you offers...

Though I've only had a few of those... They also send you emails (most of the time) when new Shift codes are released. The codes so far have been either for Golden Keys or for new skins/heads. All together, over the last month or so, I've gotten three emails for 'special offers' to buy other products and two emails for Shift codes. I find it is just as good to just keep an eye on their twitter accounts to see them released so I've made it one of my regular morning stops for now. The main twitter account that I follow is here:

The Shift codes work regardless if you join or not, it just makes it hard to miss when they are released (and some are time sensative since they expire).
