I would guess comparisons will not start coming out (from any source I would trust) for a few days at least. I'll keep an eye out and if I see anything I'll give another reply.

I did sudo apt-get update and apt-get upgrade in Ubuntu. My buddy went to bed, so I will have to pick it up tomorrow.

Anyone hit any snags they wanna share?

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade

sudo apt-get install linux-source linux-headers-generic

open Ubuntu Software Center and install Steam. Works just great! Wheee!
