Would you go to a nude beach?

3. There is a nude beach off the N.J. coast. Funny how most of the pleasure fishing boats congregate off that beach.

Equally interesting, the one time I went, 92.2% of the occupants of the beach were guys. My date (Karina) and I enjoyed the afternoon. Then went home. No big deal.

Years ago, Katrina and I wanted to go to the nude park, outside of New Paltz, N.Y. We show up at the entrance and tell the girl (Maybe late teens) we were looking for -- whatever the name of it was/is. She became flustered and couldn't direct us. We gave up and went home.

I was part of an open marriage group. I had two partners outside of my marriage. At one event, I overheard the two of them commenting positively about my asset. I don't know what makes the "horn of man's desire" particularly attractive. But I've had several instances where it is evident that the appendage is particularly attractive to the opposite sex.

Most popular beaches tend to take a fairly relaxed attitude about toplessness anymore. Going topless in Washington state is a good way to get hypothermia. I've found in general that most "formal" nude beaches tend to either be predominantly one sex (usually male) or attract voyeuristic elements (usually both). Add in the fact that most people do not look all that attractive nude, this is probably why there are not many left.

Sunscreen is readily available.

At a nude beach or resort, people genuinely don't care what you look like naked. Most of the people who go to these places are in their 50s, 60s, and 70s. After a short time, you forget about your negative body image as you see lots of other people in the same or worse shape. I have never seen anyone at a nude area making fun of or mocking anyone else. In fact, if a person did that, they would be quickly shamed and asked to leave.

Took GF for lunch to out an out-of-way place in Maryland. On the way back I decided to go low and slow over lower Chesapeake Bay; like 1,000 feet.

LOTS of pleasure boats in the water. Then I noticed that on most of the boats - the women were topless.*

And they all waved at us! And I’d wave the wings back to them.

Told GF I was thinking of getting a boat. She was all for it. Never did it. Rather have an airplane.

I have been to a couple of nude beaches and it is genuinely peaceful and soothing to be on a beach in the warm sun in your "altogether" as one 70ish year old British woman called it. You quickly forget about your inhibitions and negative body image as most people are just people, not supermodels. My experience has been that the average age of nude beach goers is probably in the 40-50 range with many in their 60s and 70s. If you haven't done it, you should give it a try.

It is not sexual or shouldn't be. Anyone ogling or acting pervy gets spotted and kicked out pretty quick.
