We're not too far off from the transfer window opening once again. What does your team need at this stage of the game? Who do you want to see join your team?
I think the Robert Lewandowski drama is finally going to come to an end next month, and he'll sign a contract with FC Bayern. It will be a real poop in the punch bowl that is the Bundesliga when it happens, but I'm pretty sure it'll happen anyway.

(7,774 posts)I don't know what we can afford or are willing to spend? Rogers and his small hands are saying we aren't going to spend big in Jan. If we can get a Coutinho Sturridge or Suarez value for money type signings at any of those positions I would be made up.
Xabi Alonso I would welcome back as well but it appears Chelski are keen on bringing him to London.
That surprises me. Seems you guys are pretty well stacked there, doesn't it? Unless your current starting striker is headed to Madrid or Arsenal this winter??

(7,774 posts)Suarez could lose his head and have a nibble again we would be really short. Battered spurs though cost AVB his job

(11,079 posts)Someone who can win the ball back and move it forward. Xabi coming back would be nice, but he is 32. Another winger, Moses isn't really cutting it. And a LB, need one of those for sure.

(488 posts)Bayern have sent CDM/CB Jan Kirchhoff on a year and a half loan to Schalke. On the face of it, he doesn't seem to have an immediate place in Bavaria and a loan is likely a great thing for both Bayern and Kirchhoff. However, Schalke has an overabundance of center backs already and I'm left wondering if he'll really see any more starting XI time there than he would at Bayern.

I've heard Xherdan Shaqiri's name associated with a loan to ManUre, too. I would be really bummed if he goes to Manchester...
